Nook update

So I thought I would update everyone on how cool the Nook Color is running Clockworks mod 7( the latest phiremod rom). CPU is now overclocked to 1.2 ghz and Netflix streams flawlessly. Google market and Amazon apps work fine as well. Oh yeah and before I forget I've got nook and kindle apps working. I'm telling you 250 dollars well spent.

NOOK is so awesome

That's right I said it, after rooting CM7 nightly mods have taken my nook to gingerbread way earlier than the official update...with use of the entire google market. Did I mention that my Nook Color has working bluetooth...or the fact that it is over clocked from 800mhz to 925mhz. Stopped taking my laptop to work because my web searching, podcasts, and games work just fine. I just set up my DROIDX hotpot and check emails, watch podcasts or movies I have loaded...or search the web. So cool for 250 dollars. Not too shabby for those of us on a budget.

Okay so I dabbled in ads on my blog..even tried to do some good, failed in a most spectacular fashion. For those of you going HUH? What happened was I posted sponsored tweets on twitter, Facebook and here on my blog. I wanted to generate money to donate to Red Cross and also some for myself to obtain a website and maintain it. The first year was not very good and the second year was next to nothing made in 6 months. So I killed the project donated what was made(all of it). After all time is money and I have very little of both, so re-prioritizing my time meant dropping some projects to finish other projects in progress.  I'm proud of my peeps and myself for trying to raise money for a very worth while cause. Our donations were small but every little bit helps. The good to come from this is that the ad clutter is gone and this blog will return to tech and the average...quote normal user experience.
